The battlefield began last July 5, 2016, as 552 entries for the Main Event. Players had 5 chances to qualify but only 84 players survive out of 554. It was a long grind as only 5 players will have a seat to the biggest major tournament in manila for this year. This will be the 10th anniversary of the Asia Pacific Poker Tour and expected to bring more than last year crowd.
